In the 80's I was studying for an exam in West Philly at Drexel with a friend. He told me that his girlfriend was bringing him a hoagie from Pudge's. I had never heard of the place but I was angry that he didn't ask her to bring me something also, because I was starved. He told me not to worry that I could have some of his and that there would be enough. I was still angry because I didn't believe him. His girlfriend arrived with one hoagie that she and him were going to split. After hearing that she was having some also I was sure I'd be starving that night. But when I saw this monster of a hoagie all my fears were dispelled. It was the same length as a normal half hoagie, but the girth of this thing was almost laughable. This was the largest sandwich I had ever seen in my life. We all had as much as we could eat and there was still some left. This was because this was no ordinary hoagie ... it was "the Pudge". I will never forget that hoagie. If you are really hungry, it won't let you down. What more do I have to say?
Great coffee ! I want some now .... no, I really mean NOW.
